can't you make these by removing the plastic from ordinary speedplays?
thats possible. i'm not sure what holds the plastic on, or if there would be anything that would interfere with the cleat if you removed them. i wonder why speedplay doesnt sell these, they seem like a good idea for foul weather/muddy road applications
