When I realized (finally) that the point of the build-off was NOT to come up with the slickest classic or vintage bike for a paltry $149, but to spend $149 on a bike worth $10, I knew it was time.

Time to take a load to the DUMP!

Felt good to throw those dozen bikes in the recycling bin. I didn't even bother to give them to the store, just melt 'em down. Good stuff mostly, but CRAP in my book.

It's a small contribution, but maybe your bike is worth more now.
