Riding for ROMP 2010- 3500 mile trek from Oregon to Guatemala

Hello bike forum community!

My name is Patrick Mathay and I am organizing a bike-a-thon from Eugene, Oregon to Zacapa, Guatemala beginning June 19th.

The 3,500 mile ride, Riding for ROMP 2010, is in support of the Range of Motion Project (ROMP). ROMP is a 501(c)3 non-profit that operates two orthotic and prosthetic clinics in Ecuador and Guatemala. These clinics provide US-quality prosthetic care to amputees living in extreme poverty who otherwise would never be able to afford to walk again. We aim to raise at least $50,000 to help expand the reach of ROMP's services, as well as increase American awareness to the plight of hundreds of thousands of amputees living in the third world.

Read more about ROMP here: www.rompglobal.org

We are looking for corporate sponsors, private donors, and ride participants in Oregon and California (and Mexico and Guatemala if you're on here).

Thanks, any help/tip/advice is appreciated!

Cheers.
