This is true. Ran into 30 foot sections of road last week that were just filled in with packed gravel. One of our guys stopped to talk to a guy in a truck to see how much of this was ahead. The guy said the township was out of $ and when the pot holes got out of hand they were going to dig out the section and fill it with packed gravel. Really no way to ride a road bike over it. Totally stinks.

The windshield replacement guy must be dancing a jig right now.
