Stupid Stem bolt torque question
I replaced the stem on a new bike with a longer stem. The original stem with a carbon faceplate had a torque max value of 4 N/m, the new stem max of 8 N/m. The orignal stem had a carbon faceplate, the replacement is aluminum.
Question: The bars are Shimano Pro carbon. Should I worry about the difference in torque between the two faceplates? And for reference, I do plan to use friction paste.
Thanks in advance.
