Well before you pedal another 8th of a mile on it, tear down all the bearings and lube it up. It will not last long
at all with dried up grease, and it will pedal easier. I paid $175 for mine, and was not all that upset. $40 is a STEAL
for an 80-81 model!! I don't care what anyone here says. They're not the old stamped drop plain guage bikes from
the 70's, they're completely different.,,,,BD
