I know a couple of these hipsters, and they are in such a hurry to strip the derailleurs and brakes, that they don't even bother to the keep the hardware necessary to put the brakes back on or attach cables to the derailleurs.

I get the feeling these particular hipsters are way to lazy to list any parts on eBay though.
