I typically rip on Vittoria, but I will speak kindly of the Rubinos. I stopped to help a guy with a flat once, and the Rubino was easy to remove and re-mount. He flatted on a roofing nail, so I can't blame the tire for that one. No tire would have helped against that.

Every other Vittoria experience I've had is pretty dismal. The Randonneur-Cross 700 x 28 was so difficult to mount on 4 different rims that I had to invent a new swear just to deal with it. Once mounted, I found them to feel harsh (due to the stiff casing) and flexible feeling in speedy corners (from the low inflation rating). Not a fan.
The Vittoria Pave 700 x 24 which a friend had suffered a sidewall blister during their first 30 miles. This could have been a side effect of the difficulty in mounting them.
In my experience, Vittoria tires (with the exception of that one Rubino on a rim I don't remember) are very difficult to mount.
