Not as much as I should? But I guess yeah, you're probably right - it needs some lubrication. Ah geez, I am a terrible owner, aren't I?
Most of the bikes I've owned were big-box bikes that died long before they needed any sort of lubricant, so that's one thing I'm not familiar with.
