this thread should be good.

as for my 2 cents - i havent heard too many complaints about the top end groups, red, record or DA shifting poorly, so if red is :

a)lighter
b)cheaper
c)more reliable (strictly from a traditional and a availability/interchangeability of parts standpoint)

it would be a no-brainer for me.
