Hi Mark, I do think too that you did great on the price of the bike!! $1100 in savings, I doubt any LBS will give you that discount for a brand new bike, not even on a last year model!! You will have to re-adjust the cables tension after a couple of hundred miles again anyway as the cables strech a little bit, so it's good to have a relationship with a local LBS that you can trust.
