actually, contact park tool directly once things start to move along to see if they wouldn't donate or at least sell at special discount directly to you a full professional mechanics suite of tools. In a shop like that tools are consumable! You'll need a good set to start but will have to start replacing here and there after a year or two.
+1! I agree - use some (if not all) the money to buy tools and set up a shop, and see if you can't get them at a discount/prorated discount, then just wait for the bikes to start arriving.

Tools are very expensive.
