C'mon man, companies need to survive, need to make a profit, need to have money to develop new product, have to deal with a crappy economy, a crappy US dollar, expensive raw materials and parts, expensive shipping, mark-ups from retailer, etc, etc, etc.

Yes... some of the companies are greedier than other and line the corporate team with too much money, but beyond that, that's life and that's business. You wouldn't buy the bike if it was twice as expensive so they could let some dude in Italy glue it together.
