i just rode a 2010 specialized allez alite, comparing against my 1988 bianchi with syncho shifters. first thing i notice is that i was blown away with the shifting of the 105, it seems as i have been living in the dark ages. the frame seems to ride as nice if not better and is stiffer because on the bianchi my chain will start rubbing when i sprint. if i had the money i would probably upgrade in a heart beat. So do you guys have similiar experiences where you try out a different bike and can tell it's just that much better.
