I got these in today.
Packaging was good - no problems upon arrival.
Visual inspection of the wheels was good - some superficial small scrapes on the rims, but nothing to write home about.
I mounted the velox rim strip, tubes, and tires after that.
Put them on the bike and used the brake pads to inspect the build - The rear wheel was already de-stressed and quite true, both radially and laterally. I turned a few spokes less than 1/4 turn to get perfection.
The front wheel needed some spoke de-stressing however. I used the Sheldon method of grabing two same-side spokes and squeezing fairly hard. After that, I trued it up a bit and it is good to go.
My intial impression is that the wheels are quite good.
Much better than my trek 1000 stock Alex A4...something rims with 32 spokes. That said, if you intend to order these dudes it would be good to have
some wheel truing experience before hand.
I think for the price they're not too bad of a deal....just wanted to shout out about it.
