You can buy an SD card reader or USB adaptor for importing photos from your camera. With all of the apps already available on it, the iPad is a perfect toy for the digitally-addicted tourist: music, movies, podcasts, books, blogging apps, photo editing apps, email, Skype calls. All of that in a super slim shell with 10-hour battery life.
