From: Chicago, the leafy NW side

Bikes: 1974 Motobecane Grand Record, 1987 Miyata Pro, 1988 Bob Jackson Lady Mixte (wife's), others in the family

It was a good ride, hampered only by stiff winds on the 'out' half. Bibliobob estimated the wind at 25mph peak. But the sun was out, and things calmed down considerably on the way back 'in.' I don't have any photos but a few of the guys will be putting them up shortly, I'm sure.

iab's Mexican restaurant was just the thing to replenish calories, and the Mexican coke was an especially refreshing treat. (Wait a minute, something sounds funny there.)

Present and riding were were:

iab: Cinelli

bibliobob: Billato

Barretscv: Trek 400 (?)

leftthread: Centurion Elite RS

bikamper: 50's Raleigh

Chicago Al: Centurion Turbo

Sorry to have missed beech333, and I don't know if there was any word from Fletch521.

Thanks to iab for organizing this little jaunt. Nice route, nice people!
