Hi all, been reading the forums forever but this is my first post...
Questions about Norco Magnum S-7 Tourer
Last summer I picked up a Magnum S-7 from the original owner. Way back when, he had received the bike as a insurance replacement and had picked up the best bike he could find.
He has been riding the bike until a few years ago when, because of advanced age he was forced to quit riding.
This thing is a sweet ride and if it wasn’t for the fact that my regular commuter is a Myata Tourer which is perfect for me, I’d be adding it to the stable. The bike was extraordinarily maintained though the paint has seen its share of scuffed and scrapes.
I’m curious to see how much of this is still original. I know the derailleurs are correct and so are the wheels, but...
Anyhow, hopefully they\re is someone out there who knows about originality on old Norcos

If anyone can date this...I’m figuring 84-86 or so and let me know any info they have on it I would greatly appreciate it. I’ve found some info on the Magnum GT but there is nothing on the S-7.
Thanks,
Jeff
