I'm with the previous two posters. It's one thing to bring a "meh" bike (sorry if I've offended sensibilities, but I rather think my characterization is charitable) back if you're going to use it, or if it's going to a friend, of loved one, or if it belonged to your dad, or it's put needed food on the table, or even to improve your skills as a mechanic. In the absence of these factors, I'd calculate based on $/hour, rather than some noble cause. I'd rather be out riding than saving every frame I came across.
Now if it were a more special bike, I'd reconsider the above. It's all about personal priorities, but I don't much care whether someone "Drews" this one, or not.
