If there are 350 bikes parked at a middle school in Burlington, Iowa it doesn't seem far-fetched that there would be 9000 parked outside the hundreds of office buildings in downtown Chicago. Anyway, we've diveted the thread long enough on my off-the-cuff (but reasonable sounding) speculation. The topic is free public transit, IIRC.....
