Sorry Robert. At this point I would say that the benefits of public transportation need to be highlighted more than ever. 1 in 21 American workers commute via public transportation. It's a lot cheaper to put more buses on the road than to widen and maintain existing roadways, unfortunately there are a lot of inefficiencies in how federal dollars are dolled out ( feds fund roadways, not using buses for commuting ). Having a safe, effective, and reliable public transportation system lowers living costs and gives businesses along the route access to customers and workers.
