Exactly. If they pass you too closely or cut you off, just give them a sarcastic wave like "thanks jack*ss" and mutter "thanks for all the room d-----bag". They'll think "oh gosh, the bike-rider guy is graciously thanking me for giving him tons of room! What a nice fellow!" while you get to keep all of your limbs and bike frame intact..lucky you.
