But hey... whatever floats your boat.
Been a week, everything is still pretty damn white. The seat gets blue from jeans but magic eraser takes care of that.

I'm not sure what you mean by replacing parts everyday? Most of the parts were put on the first day, only thing that's been replaced since then was the chain that I already had and new tape, which is nicer than the stock tape.
As far as my "non practical" parts go. The wheelset has nicer bearings and feels more solid than the stock set, the tires feel much nicer/look to have better grip, my pedals are solid and comfy, the saddle is comfy, the chain was needed to run my 19t rear cog because the stock chain wouldn't fit it.
Yes, because they're white I'll need to clean them to keep them looking fresh, but I knew that going in and if you guys knew how I kept my car, you'd understand I'd be doing this anyways. I didn't build this bike for anyone's approval but mine, if you like it, great. If you don't like it, that's fine too, I know the style isn't for everyone.
Also, I swear to god I've had this thing apart in some way everyday I've had it. Yesterday after my 2nd tube randomly popping on me, my friend (who's been my go to guy for bike help) asks if I'm running rim tape. To which I replay "WTF is rim tape?", well there's your problem. Turns out he made the same mistake starting out and killed 3 tubes before he figured it out, thanks for the heads up

! Anyways, another $10 at the LBS later I disassemble the wheels from the bike and take out the tires and tubes, on goes the rim tape and back together it goes.
Edit: haha, page 5!
