http://www.trekbikes.com the latest version of a TREK 1000 can be had for under $700. The next 2 upgrade models, the 1200 & 1500 go for approx. $900/$1100 respectively. Should be able to locate a couple of TREK dealers in the big D area. Actually, there's a link for locating dealers on the website also. Good luck.
