I'm like Nachoman for the past 30 years. Minimal fish. Mostly, I don't want to be associated with industrial livestock production for meat, though I do use leather products in moderation, which makes me a bit of a hypocrite as well. For years I thought getting lots of fiber and avoiding red meat would help me avoid disease, but then I came down with colorectal cancer. Go figure.
Food is a lot more interesting and tasty when you avoid meat products, I think.
