The friendly folks at Harris Cyclery (specifically Kevin Duffy - Thanks!) were able to answer my question. In case any one else is wondering, "D1" cogs are for the second position only on the Regina CS, BX and America six speed. They also provided this scan of a Regina sprocket compatibility chart, which others might find useful as well. Cheers.
