I haven't used those higher priced Campy and Sram options, but for a bike with DT shifters, I don't see any point in avoiding the Tektros. I've been riding a set on my commute bike for a couple of years and they have been superb. They are comfortable, sturdy, light weight, offer great braking performance and cheap. What more could you ask for. If you want "classier" looking, just go with the silver bladed ones rather than the Black ones. I was a bit nervous when I did my brake system upgrade...because of the low price, but all the reviews that I found were positive. And as soon as I installed them and had a chance to ride them, all doubts were gone. They really are a great brake lever.

Oh, and about the shimano option. The shape of the R600 levers is very similar to the old (far too narrow for comfort) hood design. If you're concerned about maintaining a certain aged look with your bike at the expense of comfort, then maybe, but if you want a comfortable hood/lever shape, I say look elsewhere.
