Not to mention the pedestrians who are running across the street in between traffic and not at a proper crossing light. I figure it's all part of the game. Although yesterday I did see a parking control officer getting ready to ticket a UPS truck for being illegally parked in No Parking zone. I congratulated him...lol

As for running redlights? If you do that on my route to work or back you will most certainly be killed or seriously injured. During off peak hours I'd have to admit I will go through a red light only after I have fully stopped and made sure it is safe to proceed. When I say safe...that includes checking that there are no cops around to see what I am doing.
True, but they're cops, you'd expect different behavior from cops than from a delivery truck or yellow taxi or whatever else, no? That's the irritating part. They're supposed to enforce the laws, protect us, or whatever that is they get paid for from our tax money not to be a nuisance to our society. I posted about this particular event due their weird reaction, but this happens almost daily: cops park everywhere without any regard to people around them.

So do I: only after slowing down and letting pedestrians pass. But even when I have a green light there is a danger of being wiped by a speeding fixter. I need to get a T-shirt that says: "I stop at red lights just to annoy hipsters!"
