I am 42 years old and ride XC only. Although I ride in well maintained mtb centers, I rarely see teenagers (might be due to the price or the fact that you need a car to get to these centers). Most people are there for a relaxing "Sunday ride", which is OK, but I prefer to go all out for a few hours and then go home.
