Dream bike goes on top of the Benz. But I like your attitude. Frugality and forethought increases the chance that you can consider doing this when you reach my age. And it is nice to be able to consider it, even if you decide it is not worth it.
A $3K bike is frugal ? I don't think so. I want the bike I deserve with my cycling skill and fitness, not my bank account.
