Without doing all the steps Retro outlined, it
WILL look like crap. Even if painstakingly wrap tape around every single spoke-nipple to mask it off, there will still be some paint that shows up due to leakage from the holes. Then as soon as you true the wheel, the paint around the holes will crack and chip. There's a reason most rims aren't painted from the factor to begin with..
