I'm a former Aussie, and I miss the mentality that any excuse is good enough to have a 3 day weekend. Anzac day was always awesome, if usually rainy.
Just got back from a 22 mile jaunt through OKC. Started from my doorstep on the south tip of Lake Hefner and across the metro through Nichols Hills, then up 1-44 to Frontier City amusement park and back again. Had to make it a short trip because I'm helping my brother move today, but it was a very good route. I hadn't ridden it before and I new it would be relatively hilly (for Oklahoma), and my riding partner dropped out last minute so I was solo. Got back before my wife woke up, she didn't even know I was gone.
