Yes. I'm surprised by the different too. This is disconcerting. How does one compare apples to apples? Some people say relative comparisons is all that's really needed. However, in this day in age, with people sharing and comparing data, accurate values are important.

I am a little surprised about the differences in power output between the Quarq and the Powertap - that is a 5-7% difference (10% for max power). That seems like a lot.

You really can't compare power data between these 2 units if there is consistently that much difference.
