Likewise for me also in the Boston Metro area. Saturday I did my first training ride of the season, meant to be 40 miles according to the schedule. I often do my Saturday long ride as an extended commute from Kenmore Square to Norwood, and then take the train home. Due to certain duties and time constraints, I did a bona fide round trip commute. I went 32 miles via Beacon St and Route16 through Wellesley to Rte 27 in Sherborn then via Farm St to Dover Center to Norwood. Dover was as usual swarmed with well-appointed cyclists.

Home was the usual 14 miles straight back to Kenmore.
