normally, in a 130mm OLD road wheel the spokes on the NDS are 2mm longer than the spokes on the drive side. The spoke tension on the NDS are also about 60~70% of what the drive side spokes get.

I think with radial lacing, you can get the flange on the drive side to sit slightly further out without worry of the spokes hitting the derailer.
