You're right, I have discovered it is very hard to find aftermarket frames and good sets of wheels/components that fit smaller women without having to buy a whole prebuilt bike. I spent alot of time finding where to get the right sizes, so I am a wealth of info for that, if you ever have any questions. I had to search all the womens forums for info. Team Estrogen, Girl bike, Luna, and bought alot on Ebay til I was blue in the face to get everything I needed.

Now, if only some of the WSD bike makers would get a clue, and put Campy components on their bikes. My wife specifically said she likes the Campy better because the shifters are a little smaller for her hands, and she can reach the brake lever better. She felt the Shimano shifters were huge.

Exactly! the WSD I've seen and ridden were all overpriced, purple and ick! As a teenager I worked for the crazy Italians in an Alfa Romeo franchise. They all road and of course, all campy. It just feels right to me. And I do know the difference, unlike what I think a lot of manufacturers think of their female market.
I could never see myself walking into my LBS and settle for whatever they had to sell me and being satisfied with a stock bike. My work is art and design. I want to build my next bike.

So keep us posted. And thanks for the forum ideas and offer of info.
