Well, this 45-year-old went and bought himself a new Steamroller today...
Had contemplated a used one on Craigslist, but the savings wasn't that much over new, so I bought a new one at The Hub Bike Coop in Mpls (great shop)... test rode it Friday, and I fell in love by the time I got it around the block.
At that point I had still planned on going to go with the Craigslist deal. But it was located about 90 minutes away, and just couldn't come up with enough time over the weekend to make the trip... Plus, the Hub was having a sale this weekend (save $50!), so I called 'em up this afternoon before they closed and credit-carded it over the phone, and I'll pick it up Monday or Tuesday.
Can't freakin' wait.
