I own the Cinelli Vai stem & seatpost as well. They are rather heavy! They're alloy, not aluminum. I opted to use an old scratched up Thomson Elite instead of the Vai just because it was so much heavier, and now it's rolling around in my parts bin.

Those deep G6000s are probably pretty beefy too.

It is a GORGEOUS off-the-peg bike though. Almost as good-looking as your puppy. Enjoy!
