Was very different then the 100 km or mile events out in the south east. We don't have all the casual folks on hybrids and whatnot. Your either a cyclist or an illegal alien on a wal-mart bike. None of this in between stuff.
You were there too ? I was there too, among the 3800+ out there. The first couple miles SUCKED didn't it ?
The last 30 or so was great because I was with a group of friends and we pacelined it the whole way back
