That's easy to say, but the fact of the matter is that if I know someone is behind me, I feel responsible for them. I can't just switch it off. If I don't want to feel responsible for them, I will just leave them. Pretty simple.

All things considered, I would rather not have someone run into me, and I would rather not take the chance that the yahoo on my wheel has no idea what the f they are doing. In a group ride or race I accept that and expect a certain base level of competency, but just riding around, who knows.
