Like mkeller, I had a 1420 a few years back that I installed a Tange fork on. I used it as a single speed, and enjoyed it. Sold it, then got it back in trade about 6 mos later as the buyer traded up. Then I sold it, f&f only, locally. So mk, you didn't buy yours from ebayer "war-eagle-hey", did you?
And I think you're fine at that price, and I wouldn't expect to sell it below $250.
