I think one of the most important aspects of a custom frame is the ratio of chainstay length to front center. Depending on where your saddle is relative to the bottom bracket and how much saddle to bar drop you have will determine how you balance on a bike. I think the perfect bike puts you knee over the pedal spindle while your weight is balanced such that there is little weight on the hands while riding.
