Straight from Soul's website, "For a lighter wheelset, we are also offering the S3.0s in an SL version. The S3.0SL utilises the Prodigy V3 hubs and 2.3mm bladed spokes instead to reduce the weight. Stiffness is maintained with an improved bracing angle offered by the Prodigy hubs, but durability is lower due to the smaller spoke section used."
So, for $365 shipped, you get their lower quality hub and bigger spokes compared to $470 shipped for the better hub and smaller spokes. I am also deciding between which Soul wheels to get. I'm not sure if the Prodigy hub is just designed differently or if its overall quality is better than the S-series hub. It's confusing.
