Why is it that they provide you with all of the information you could possibly ever need about the fund raising and what is required of you but almost zero info that you would need?

this is my 4th year in a row riding in the Jim Calhoun Cancer challenge and it seems to get worse every year. I can't even get route information, only a highlighted map that crosses itself three times with no directions. I would really like to load the route into my mapping software to get a look at the elevation.
