Then that is your problem if you can't wait! Most organizers provide a rt slip at the start of the ride. They want you to attend the ride so they make money. If they give you the slip, they assume you will ride it on your own and they don't get the dough.
If you expect that much from a charity ride, it's called a charity ride for a reason. It's not to provide FOR YOU!
