I've put 100mm forks on bikes meant for 63-80mm range forks and 120-130 mm forks on bikes meant for 80-100mm range and found they sucked, so sometimes 20-25mm can make a difference. It should slacken the head angle by a little more than one degree, hopefully that's acceptable to the OP.
OP forgot to ask, you sure the steerer is long enough on that Fox for your bike?
Two things, first off (ask any of my personal contacts) I'm any thing other than sensitive, I'm just a bit annoyed by everyone jumping on the "you'll die and explode with a longer fork" band wagon. Secondly, I will greatly agree with the whole steerer tube thing, the 1.5 thing means that most c'dales have quite big head tubes.
