Interesting! I guess I never considered that those adjusters weren't part of the original brifter. If I take the cable off, they're firmly attached....it seemed like part of the brifter.

Helicomatic....good tip on replacing the ferrules. That's the kind of fix I like - cheap!

Before I go that route, is there an advantage of using the inline adjusters that strop point to instead of the ones attached to my ultegras?
