I have just recently installed both - SKS, and PB Hardcore. On two different (but similar) hybrids.

I find the PB hardware vastly superior for both installation and durability.

p.s. if those rods stick out beyond the fender - cut them off, just long enough to get those little rubber nibs back on, or flush with the junction where they come out of the fender mounts.
