R20 451 wheels

Been using Velocity 451 rims for a few years now with Schwalbe Stelvio tyres on two of my R20s. While they work well, I'm not convinced they're the best size to use. The tyres are quite difficult to mount and not easy to find when on tour. I've considered buying 451 Kenda Kwests but would like to know if anyone has problems mounting these too.

I'm also using Velocity 406 rims on another R20 with Conti slicks or Primo Comets and they perform very well.... a 6:15 100 mile hilly ride on a SS R20 shows that. I'm tending to think this size might be better all round, in terms of more tyre choice and overall availability.

I prefer the look of 451, but are they worth the hassle?

If any Aussie R20 owners are interested I have a set of new/never used Velocity 451 rims for sale.
Front is 36h with new Shimano Deore hub.
Rear is 36h with NOS Sach 3x7 hub with toggle etc.
