Oh, I don't agree. A pair of Mafac brakes is easy to find, but the DA's are a reasonable upgrade; some people might prefer them (Mafacs are very squeaky). Vintage wheels, also not that hard to source.

I'm sure this bike would clean up to be a very nice vintage rider, with the looks of a beater but a glorious ride.

Not my thing, since I have a PX10 which I got in comparable condition; and this one's not my size anyway; but for the right person, a labor of love and certainly worth the effort.

I bet if you put it in the C&V sales for $100 plus shipping, you'd find a buyer in short order.
